APPEARANCE

Sorel is an average looking Vulcan, though on the taller side if compared to humans (approximately 6' 2"). He has lighter brown hair and eyes than most, and a lot of freckles and moles.

PERSONALITY

On the outside, while he has the typical Vulcan seriousness and aloofness, Sorel is actually an optimist. Whenever there is a problem, he approaches it with an almost cheerful determination to solve it and he believes in the goodness of others. He likes to be prepared and often researches inevitabilities. Hence always having a screwdriver on him. It’s just that his face doesn’t show it.

While on Earth, he has some pretty high hopes: graduating Starfleet, learning more about humans and their culture, making some friends, and continuing to collect analogue artifacts.

BACKGROUND

Sorel is the eldest child of a lawyer (mother) and a diplomat (father). He has a number of younger siblings who have not reached the age where they can join the Vulcan Academy of Sciences. He made quite a stir going for Starfleet instead, but it’s not like it was unprecedented. He was simply more interested in a wider application of technology and a larger choice of opportunities than what the Academy offered. He hopes eventually he and his parents can get back to speaking terms eventually. It would be nice if they could attend his graduation.
